Regarding patents, it’s all about absolute accuracy. Translations have to follow the source text word for word, since the exact wording determines the scope of protection that is being defined by a patent. For high-quality patent translations, in-depth expertise and relevant experience are crucial. During the translation process, an efficient quality management is of utmost importance.

- On-site work at patent law firms and in close cooperation with patent attorneys

3 Quality management
- Mother-tongue principle: translations from the foreign language into the native language
- Patent analysis: research and preparation of reference material
- Terminology management: Use of terminology management systems to secure the consistency of the terminology throughout the whole translation as well as in any further texts, and creation of customer-specific terminology databases.
- Proofreading: Each translation is proofread in terms of accuracy and patent-specific formulations.
- Formatting: The translation will be delivered in the format required by the client.
